Many of us remember those unlikely craft floundering in the lake below the mighty ski-jump at Holmenkollen. The object of this live television broadcast was to reach a bell in the middle of the lake, preferably while still in your craft. The excitement we all remember from this national water event can now be relived in our very own Take a Chance.
This is your chance to take part! The boat needs to be designed, built and decorated by your team. Things to remember include Safe Job Analysis, project plan, documentation system and HSE. The task of building the fastest, prettiest boat is a team project requiring lots of spirit.
This is a project that can only succeed if everyone pulls together. You will need creativity and supreme cooperation.
As the contest gets underway our laughter muscles get strained. Contestants become animated as their projects roll forward. Even a visit from the real live commentator is not entirely out of the question.
